New Responsive Website

Our research revealed that mobile and tablet devices were widely used by Strachan customers, so it was vital to design a fully responsive website.

Research and Development

Strachan wanted us to redesign their website, making it easier for customers to navigate and to increase brochure requests and design consultation bookings. So, we asked previous Strachan customers about their online experience and used heat mapping on the existing site to influence our design considerations for the new site.

Improved Customer Journey

We devised a new site map, based on our research, improving the customer journey and presenting information clearly and concisely. Easy-to-navigate product categories, were joined by a dedicated page detailing Strachan’s service, testimonials, case studies and a Stylish Living blog section with inspiration, design tips and advice.

Cross Platform Functionality

With the growth in mobile and tablet usage comes the necessity to offer responsive website design which gives the very best user experience no matter what device is used. With this, and our consumer research, in mind the Strachan redesign had a strong focus on cross platform functionality.

The Stylish Living blog aims to engage consumers with inspirational and useful content, to motivate design consultation bookings and to help customers visualise Strachan in their own homes.

The Result

Since the launch of their new website Strachan have enjoyed significant increases in conversion rates from mobiles and tablets and average order values have increased across the board.
